What is Findings?

Findings is a free classifieds platform where listings appear on a map instead of in a list. You see straight away what is for sale, being given away or offered in your own neighbourhood, so there is no wading through hundreds of unrelated ads from across the country.

Posting is free and takes a couple of minutes: add photos, write a description, and set a price or mark the item as a giveaway. If you would rather not show your exact address, you can hide it — the map then shows only an approximate location.

Findings works for both goods and services. Some people give away furniture or outgrown children's clothes, others sell electronics, and others offer their skills — from repairs to a hand in the garden. You contact the person who posted the listing directly through the platform's messages.
